Sumizome's Sword

Special Ability: The sword is a very complex item. It is not mainly used for battle, but for it's other ability. The sword allows Sumizome to summon up a species of creatures (Chimera's) in a similar way to the Shinobi's Kuchiyose no jutsu. Unlike the shinobi who use a scroll to sign a pact with the creatures which allows them to summon them, Sumizome's sword itself is the pact between him and the creatures. Because of this, the sword is bound to him by nature and will not work for anyone else. How he summons a creature is somewhat similar to the shinobi's way. Sumizome cuts his finger on the blade and allows his blood to cover a small part of it. He then sticks his blade into an object (usually the ground) which causes a symbol to appear (Similar to the one made by Kuchiyose) and the summon to appear. Drains the same amount of CP as Kuchiyose no jutsu.
Special Attack: -
Drawback: Because it's ability isn't focused on power, the sword doesn't really have a drawback. And if it does, it is too little for Sumizome to notice.
Durability: Being made of a metal mixture of Platinum and titanium, the blade is pretty strong. It can withstand high temperatures and is a very reliable weapon.

Appearance: The sword actually resembles a normal nodachi however where the blunt edge is, or supposed to be rather, is another sharpened side. So instead of just having one cutting edge it has two. The second cutting edge is there for Sumizome, he cuts his thumb on it, which covers the blade with a small amount of blood, which then allows him to summon a creature to aid him in battle. The blade has many different symbols etched into it. The guard is in the shape of a lions head, and the sheath is decorated with a silver dragon.

Background: A sword passed down through members of Sumizome's family. It is said that it was taken with them from Iwagakure, it was the prized possession of the Tomoshibi clan because of it's unique ability. When the Tomoshibi clan left Iwagakure, it was taken by Sumizome's grandfather to the land of Iron, unknown to the other Tomoshibi clan members. It was finally handed down to Sumizome after he became a Gashira and he still has it today.
