| Character InformationName: Jiroubou Morinou Age: 23 Gender: Male Place of Birth: Sunagakure Date of Birth: May 22nd Appearance: Jiro is a young man with medium-length scraggly black hair that barely passes his shoulder blades. Typically seen worn loose or pinned down by a pair of goggles to protect himself from the desert's sandstorms, he occasionally pulls his hair back as well to reveal the finer contours of his face. A habitual squinter, Jiro is near-sighted, but is open to relinquishing this habit for a time to reveal the onyx irises embedded in his skull. With a thin nose and pursed-thin lips to boot, he's not too extraordinary, but he's known to have a tongue of gold to make up for whatever he lacks physically. He stands fairly tall, though his slouch will confuse many people, and his overall physique is typically questionable as well as the Kazekage himself prefers not to reveal too much under various layers of cloth, ceremonial and non. For the sake of appearances by status, he wears the robes and hat of the Kazekage in public eye. Underneath those layers, however, he wears a seemingly much more casual choice of clothing you could easily depict for someone of his age. Usually this consists of the normally-viewable shinobi sandals and folded up leggings to reveal some of his calves. A baggy shirt of some form with an open flak jacket for protection covers his upper body, and bandages typically adorn every inch of skin from his elbows to his fingertips. Scars wrap across his torso and legs from years of injury and recovery that took the more negative toll on his body. Nothing too major, but it all adds up to take away from his physique so he's not the most attractive guy out there. Height: 5'9”Weight: 125 lbsPersonality: Like any good young adult, Jiro is one to be rather laid back, seemingly carefree, rather positive and charismatic, and yet also arrogant. While he can be calm and collected and rather warm towards his people that revere him, he gloats his skills as a ninja mightily, knowing fully well that yes, he deserved his position of power because yes, he is indeed powerful. Go figure. Granting his youth, he's also a bit of a lecher, though he's reserved in the aspects there for the sake of keeping appearances, though he's been known to slip a jutsu here and there for the sake of a quick peep. Behind closed doors, however, Jiro is a completely different person than what he allows anyone to see. Quite serious to a fault and perhaps filled with a cruel demeanor, he's not one to be above using force to get what he wants, and will not stand down and let others do the dirty work for him when he believes he is more suited. There is a lack of remorse, something that he earned through his tutelage as a ninja properly, something that younger generations always seem to not grasp but eventually do even if they're seen as bitter and old when the time is right. In Jiro's case, however, he has an inferiority-complex that came out at an early age towards fellow peers in thinking he would never be anything but a defective tool for his land as a ninja. However, he's not above respecting those who deserve to be above him, remarkably those of equal power to himself, or those who live on their actions rather than sit idly by and do nothing. Likes:
- Staring at the sky
- World Domination (A man can dream, right?)
- Spars, Duels, Fighting, etc.
Dislikes:
- Thievery
- Bullies
- People with low self-esteem
History: Birth ArcBorn to become the Kazekage, the newborn to be called Jiroubou Morinou was a sickly child, deemed unfit to become much of anything but a regular citizen in Sunagakure. In this reasoning, and because many of the villagers of Suna were considerably harsher due to their inclimate setting, the child was fostered away to a home for the unwanted. The parents were displeased, saddened by the fact that they were both shinobi and that their child didn't show any such promise in following suit. Growing up without a family besides the fellow children, Jiro took to disliking others, especially the regular townsfolk. If they were to look down upon him for not being at his greatest position in health with his peers, then they were deemed unfit to care for these children. With years coming, Jiro became an unruly child, angry and filled with an avarice for power. He wanted nothing more than to prove his greatness that could become what it would one day be. Or at least, that was what he always pressed himself into thinking, his sights immediately set on becoming Kazekage one day. And who knew? Hard actually pays off rather than a god-awful welfare system. And as a testament to his displeasure knowing that he was unwanted, Jiro did two things; he kept his family name to spite his parents, and he joined the Academy. Academy ArcYears passed, Jiro was perhaps about ten at this time, and the people around him went on to live their lives. Some became ninja, others became regular peasants. Either way, Jiro was in the Academy, for what was about six years going before his timely promotion/graduation. He paved the way for other children like himself to see themselves as golden in their own eyes, following in his footsteps to join the Academy. Growing interest in the boy was becoming steadfast as Jiro became healthier, stronger, and grew into a cunning wit that shunned his peers. For his schooling time, he was nothing less than an outcast, angry at the mainstream society for their petty resolve to see him as unfit, along with his fellow orphans at least. Still, he persevered, and this was paying off after years of the basics, the simple instructions, the increase in agility and accuracy and stealth. He was becoming a ninja, little by little, and his parents, while now coming around, were now on the flipside of disowning. And in his resolve to continue to become stronger, the boy never stopped in his struggles to be better, eventually earning the number one spot in all areas in his class before finally, he graduated to Genin. Genin Arc: Keeping with the fact that he was indeed an outcast, and so were a good portion of the graduates by this time, Jiro was teamed up with fellow orphans Kouki and Nike. Both boys were like brothers to Jiro, boys he treated as his own blood because they were all he ever had growing up to this point. And they made a heavy artillery team together. Where Jiro decided to take up wind ninjutsu, Kouki's family originally hailed from the Land of Earth, so he took to the learnings of sand ninjutsu. And Nike was perhaps greedier than even Jiro, becoming a jack of all trades in both ninjutsu styles of Sunagakure. And under direct tutelage from their jounin sensei, Hikaru, a specialist in taijutsu, things were more than difficult. Naturally Hikaru despised each of the children, one for merely being of the order of orphans that were, in his eyes, just grabbing attention. But also because they were each ninjutsu masters, making tutelage all the harder for the jonin as well. This hardship was well met, however, as each and every challenge only pushed Jiro to go to greater lengths to become greater than anyone ever thought he would be. And with little time passing, Jiro, Kouki, and Nike were already up for the greatest challenge they would ever face... Besides bullies of course, because bullies are just vile human beings with self-esteem issues. Chuunin Arc: A mere year had passed since becoming genin, each boy being only eleven, but their worth as ninja was astounding in their ability to take a harsh enough beating by their sensei, and to each keep going. So easily, Hikaru decided to enroll them in the Chuunin Exam at this time, more as an act to see if they could even deal with the hardship of it all, or if they'd perish in the long run of things. For the sake of keeping things interesting between the five nations, it was determined that the Chuunin Exam this year was strictly that of a tournament held in one of the harshest of the lands: The Earth Country. With nothing but rock on all sides, Kouki was already out of the picture for being able to do battle. And this nearly whipped Nike, with his lacking half of his entire plethora of ninjutsu. Worked as decoys, however, Kouki and Nike were splendidly lobbed off, leaving Jiro to excel all the way until the end of the tournament. It was here that he met his greatest hardship: his first real defeat, that also resulted in the breaking of both of his legs. But for his sheer power and willingness to sacrifice anything for the goal in mind, he was promoted, slowly leaving his brethren behind. Five long years passed where he was bound to the ground, incapable of movement, though Suna was really only able to blame itself. There were few medic-nin compared to poison-nin, so rehabilitation took ages. Even through this, though, Jiro kept his ninjutsu up to date. Afterall, one didn't need their legs to form handseals to mold chakra. And since he's kept himself up to date, even with the years of weakness taking its' toll on his legs, he stood once more and filed the forms for his promotion to Jounin. Jounin ArcAs a testament to his being able to perform as a jounin, his test was rather simple. He was reintroduced to Kouki and Nike, as well as Hikaru, and each of them were split into teams of two. Strapped down to a chair to once again simulate his inability to walk for the past five years, Jiro was teamed up with Hikaru to go against his former teammates in a game involving two goals and a frisbee. Where in the Chuunin Exams he showed his nindo with screwing teamwork for the sake of the mission, this time around he was forced to utilize teamwork to win. The rules were simple: get the disc to the opponents goal to earn points, and you cannot attack anyone but the disc keeper, or if you are the disc keeper. A long-standing battle ensued in the sport, but eventually Jiro came to success and found himself promoted and able to live up to the new standards as a jounin, scathed, but at least Hikaru wasn't harmed, right? Over the course of four years he lived a pretty quiet life, simple and effective. Most of his days were filled with training, since no one trusted him with the right missions that were deemed fit for someone of his status. Fully recovered and more powerful than most of the ninja in the village, Jiro started acting out again. Anyone who made a comment about him earned a retaliation challenge to duel, and he more than happily walked away the victor. Smitten with anger, Jiro rampaged through the desert, before he dealt with his first “real” ninja through an assassination attempt. An inside job sent a sand ninja to get him late in the evening during a stint of training that overcame him when the winds were dead, save for the ones he himself created. Getting out of there alive with the assistance of a passing traveler, Jiro was hospitalized, and given sanctuary for time being that he was healing again. With gained after a year in the hospital, Jiro was quick to set out on the path for revenge. The first person he had to go to, however, was the Kazekage. As the custom was to gain missions was the leader of the village, it was the Kazekage that was responsible for trying to have him killed. Nothing too major, of course, but still, Jiro being the angsty young adult of twenty-one years decided to look into it. Which was surprisingly easy, as the Kazekage gave up the information without too much confrontation. Minus the deflection of a jutsu here and there and the eventual restraining of Jiro until he settled down. In the end, the answer lied in the fact that it was a voluntary mission that didn't have a payout for the young man's death. Rather, it was a grudge attack from Kouki for not being able to set a greater example for their kind. He'd made a mockery of the orphans, chosen the lower path all this time by never forgiving and forgetting the past. It was shameful, something Jiro admitted in the long run, but he let it slide. He was on a conquest for power, for the position eventually of Kazekage, because to be the strongest ninja was to be the Kage. And no one, not even his childhood friend, was going to get in his way. An equally greedy Nike found his way into Jiro's plans to even the score, and the two became closer, becoming more the brother to Jiro than Kouki was growing up. A small revelation took place that all he needed was to gain more power and then prove himself that he was still that child that paved the way to success for all those misfits. Sadly, this only empowered him to actually go forth with his plans to usurp all he needed in power and rise to greatness. Starting with revenge. An equally devious plan to assassinate someone led him and Nike to eviscerate Kouki and rally their own troops. One more standoff against the Kazekage himself found Jiro as the victor, because for some reason increased morale support seems to boost power like a Saiyan's power boost when he's about to lose a fight. Which all leads up to this... Kage Arc:Since the Kazekage's defeat, the victor was chosen to be none other than the next one in line, due to the fact that Jiro's sheer power alone was what beat the man into submission and retirement, along with naming off Jiro as the next one in line. Afterall, only the strongest ninja in the village could be given the title, and since Jiro defeated said strongest, he was the next one to deserve the title. But his title didn't come with any easy laying back from then on. Instead, the attacks started to roll in on his village from random creatures around the desert after two years, making him the age he is now. The very moment the reports started to come in, Jiro took a stand, disregarding the attacks as nothing at first until they became more insistent. In a last ditch effort to save face, Jiro took a stand for his village, taking up the next shift in the pattern of attacks to see this menace for himself. Only to find himself taken by surprise and completely hospitalized once more. During his stay in the hospital, the invitation from the land's great leaders was sent out for each of the Kages to meet to discuss war plans for this new menace to which Jiro forced himself into a swifter recovery for revenge. And apparently the word came out that these fiends that were obstructing peace were returning from their attacks to the cursed islands. Immediately Jiro was for an attack on the islands, though their planning had to thwart his attempts to go their immediately. Yes, Jiro's not the brightest crayon in the box. The confusion against the demon folk started, and for the time being Jiro has set down his plan to invade and attack. For now... E Rank Jutsu
Name: Henge no Jutsu Rank: E Skill: Ninjutsu Element: None Range: Short Description: An illusionary jutsu that gives the user the appearance of another person or object. A commonly used skill.
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu Rank: E Skill: Ninjutsu Element: None Range: Short Description: A common jutsu - used to quickly replace a body with a close by object. Creates confusing among the opponent(s) - creating a chance to escape, or return with a larger strike. Useful for avoiding attacks, and hiding from potential enemies.
Name: Bunshin no Jutsu Rank: E Skill: Ninjutsu Element: None Range: Short Description: A jutsu that creates an illusionary clone of the user, in numbers of 1 or more. The Clone disappears after being struck with an attack, and can deal no damage. This jutsu is one of the basics, and required to pass the Shinobi Academy.
D Rank Jutsu
Name: Wind Surge Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Description: A defensive jutsu at best. The user distills the air around him or her with his or her chakra and at the exact moment of attack releases a large burst of air. The blast of wind goes out and knocks a victim back. It is a defensive move that is usually used when the user is caught off guard. The wind is released from all sides of the body and stops projectiles.
Name: Retrieving Wind Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Description: This technique allows the user to create a strong gust of wind much like kamaitachi. The wind is blown away like the kamaitachi and a small tornado ensues. The tornado is very small, at best the size of a large arm, and picks the item up. The item hovers inside the tornado and the wind turns direction back towards the user. It only works if the object is a few yards away and they must have a clear path to push it through. This jutsu is very useful for trying to steal an item and such. Weapons ranging from kunai to swords can be pushed, as well as heavier things like a small animal.
Name: Wind Arrow Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: The user molds chakra and breathes in. He or she then blows out and an arrow made of wind is shot from the user’s mouth. The arrow cannot be blocked but it can be dodged. Since it is made out of wind the arrow is hard to see. One arrow shot at a time.
Name: Needles of the Wind Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: The ninja gathers air with his hands and mixes it with chakra, by doing this he transforms them into sharp and deadly needles. The needles are almost invisible so it is hard for the enemies to see them. Because the needles are made of air they cannot be blocked or deflected. The only way to ensure safety is to dodge them.
Name: Gust Blast Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Description: One of the basic techniques of Sand Ninja, the users channels chakra into the air around him, circulating it into fast movement. This causes the air to be pushed about quickly. The user then immediately channels his chakra towards whichever direction he/she wishes the wind to blow, which creates the blast of wind. This technique can be used in two ways: 1) The user can use the attack to knock an enemy over with a powerful gust of wind. 2) The gust can also be used on the user, pushing him/her out of an attacks way quickly, or also to be used to quickly advance upon an enemy. The second way to use the technique, if used improperly, can damage the user if the gust is too strong.
Name: Gale's Embrace Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Nintaijutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Amount of Stress: Minor Description: Carefully manipulating the winds with a high amount of chakra, this technique causes whipping winds to surround any part of the body the user wishes. A few air pockets are made around the part of the body, and the wind channeled through each of the pockets in the circuit of pockets creates a faster wind, eventually becoming so fast that it can part flesh by moving across it. Usually the technique is only used in the middle of an attack, such as when throwing a punch or kick at an opponent. When the technique comes in contact with the enemy, the moving winds will tear at whichever section of the body it comes in contact with. The winds cannot be held for very long, as it takes a large amount of chakra to control. If the attack is countered by the target, it is possible that the user can hurt themselves with the winds if the part of the body that is surrounded by the slashing winds touches another part of their body.
Name: Wind Blade Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Mid Description: Similar to the Gust Blast Jutsu, except this technique channels the users chakra to create a large amount of air pockets in the direction of the blast of wind. These pockets cause the wind to quickly whip around in different directions, and on contact can cut a target’s flesh. The air pockets can also be placed around the target to cause the wind to ricochet and continue slashing the opponent. The flaw with using the technique in this fashion is that it both leaves the user open to attack (since he/she needs to concentrate to hold all of the pockets around the opponent) and also quickly drains chakra.
Name: Force Palm Rank: D Skill: Nintaijutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Amount of Stress: Minor Description: A quick thrust with the palm that is usually directed towards the gut or chest. By channeling the Gust Blast Jutsu behind the thrust, a powerful blast combined with the contact of the palm can send an opponent flying into the opposite direction. This technique requires that the user gets in very close to the opponent and is sometimes easy to predict.
Name: Slashing Wind Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Mid Description: The user uses chakra to create large bursts of wind at an extent. In reality it is not an actual burst of wind but a tornado that came from the user. The wind slashes objects; at most it can cut tree branches. Like a real tornado, the wind expands as it goes farther and hits larger targets.
Name: Wind Explosion Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Mid Description: Wind is gathered with chakra into a swirling ball that is hurled towards the opponent. The blast explodes on impact, causing cuts on the target's body if a direct hit. The actual force of the explosion of the Wind Explosion Jutsu is about the strength of a five year old's punch.
Name: Wind Bullet Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: Performing this jutsu like he or she would perform Wind Arrow Jutsu, the user spits out a bullet made of wind. While the arrow may puncture the victim, the bullet does not pass through the body. It stops at the skin and causes a severe bruise, a direct and point blank hit would cause internal bleeding.
Name: Dual Sickle Jutsu Rank: D Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Mid Description: A fast ninjutsu attack that is similar to the Wind Blade Jutsu, except that instead of concentrating a large amount of chakra into a large number of air pockets, there are only four. The air pockets direct two blasts of wind into different directions, quickly slashing at an opponent in two different areas of choice.
Name: Wind Slam Rank: D Skill: Nintaijutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Amount of Stress: Minor Description: This powerful kamikaze type taijutsu attack requires the user grapples the opponent first, usually wrapping their entire body around the opponent to hold them still. Once this is accomplished, the user performs a powerful Gust Blast Jutsu, sending both him and the target towards an object. Of course, this technique could injure the user, but with enough speed and timing the user can escape the attack.
Name: Silver Drill Rank: D Skill: Nintaijutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Mid Amount of Stress: Minor Description: This taijutsu requires the user to create numerous air pockets in a swirling, progressing pattern in front of them (similar to a spiral staircase). Because of the danger of using the air pockets to immediately go at high speeds (as with Wind Blade Jutsu), there is a large amount of larger air pockets to take in more air at one time, hence allowing a slower start. As the pockets continue, more momentum is created, allowing the user to start slowly spinning through the pockets and eventually create a great enough speed to match that of the Piercing Fang from the canon series. Because of the large amount of air pockets used, though, this can drain chakra quickly if used too much. It only lasts a couple posts before a final crash is made.
C Rank Jutsu
Name: Wind Clone Jutsu Rank: C Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Description: Basically your typical clone, formed from wind. It is easily bested by any sort of skill, but this clone is still better than the average bunshin as it is able to attack and be attacked.
Name: Wind Surge Clone Rank: C Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Description: A deadly attack formed by modifying the Wind Clone Jutsu itself. Upon its destruction, the condensed wind that is used to create the being suddenly surges outwards in a wave of force. The results can be deadly, especially if an exploding clone is mixed with regular clones. There is virtually no way to tell the difference. The explosion of the Wind Surge Clone is at the same level as a car moving about 25 mph.
Name: Flying Wind God Jutsu Rank: C Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: An ability which allows the user to transport from one area to another in a gust of wind. The user has to have been to the area before, and be able to sense the location with his own chakra before being able to transport himself there. This means that the distance is limited to about one mile.
Name: Grand Slashing Wind Jutsu Rank: C Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: A much stronger form of Slashing Wind Jutsu that creates a much larger gust of wind. This jutsu, because of its severity, has the power to be both an offensive and defensive move all at once. A much larger tornado is shot forth horizontally and instead of cutting mere branches down it has the capability of ripping the greatest of trees to shreds and has the ability to blow chakra waves away.
Name: Wind Bolt Jutsu Rank: C Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: Most offensive wind techniques focus on a huge burst of wind that slams into the opponent’s whole body. This wind jutsu condenses the wind down into a spear like bolt of pure wind. One could almost grab onto this wind since it is so condensed down. After doing hand seals a bolt of wind that moves in a jagged pattern like lightning is shot at the opponent. If hit, the bolt will leave a deep puncture wound or may even impale the opponent. Only one wind bolt is made at a time.
Name: Wind Drill Jutsu Rank: C Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: The user creates another arrow from his mouth that is fired from the mouth. This time though the arrow is in the shape of a drill. The drill passes through stone and tree but once it hits the ground it dispels. This arrow can drill through a person.
Name: Wind Barrier Wall Jutsu Rank: C Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Description: This jutsu creates a solid wall of wind in front of the user. The wall is eight feet tall, one foot thick, and ten feet in length. Elemental jutsu do not penetrate the wall but after an elemental jutsu is used against the wall it disappears.
Name: Wind Needle Storm Jutsu Rank: C Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: An attack that uses air pockets to create slender tunnels in the flight path of fast blasts of air that causes the wind blasts to rush through at high speeds, usually faster than the Dual Sickle Jutsu. When the blast comes in contact with a body, it feels as if the target is being pricked with hundreds of fine tip needles. The size of the air pocket tunnel can vary, creating an array of different types of effects. The largest size the tunnel is allowed to be is the size of lead pencil tip. The larger the size of the tunnel, the more chakra it drains, but the greater the wound caused by the hit.
Name: Flight of the Eagle Rank: C Skill: Nintaijutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Amount of Stress: Average Description: A difficult technique to perform, but can be incredibly deadly when completed. The user must get incredibly close to the target and bob underneath them, allowing them to thrust upward with their palm and use the Force Palm. Once the target is propelled into the air, the user uses the second method of Gust Blast Jutsu directly beneath themselves, but the burst MUST be stronger than the first used to launch the target, otherwise the technique will fail. The stronger burst of air will send them above the target, allowing them to perform another Force Palm on the opponent, sending them into the earth at ferocious speeds. The final part of the technique requires the user to once again use a stronger Gust Blast Jutsu to hit the ground before the opponent does. Once on the ground yet again, the user ends the combo with a powerful finishing strike, sending an opponent tumbling in a chosen direction.
Name: North Gate: Turtle Crash Rank: C Skill: Nintaijutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Amount of Stress: Average Description: The first of the four Wind Gate techniques, this technique uses the Gale's Embrace Jutsu to a large extent. However, the technique also requires a large amount of chakra to perform. The first part of the technique requires the user surround their entire body with slashing air using the Gale's Embrace Jutsu. Once this is completed, the user needs to get close to the opponent so that they can grapple them. If the user can get a hold on the target, the Gale's Embrace Jutsu will slash whichever part of the body the user has a hold on, given that the user can hold their chakra long enough. The next part of the technique requires the user throws their opponent towards a solid object, such as a large rock or tree. As the target moves towards the object, the user must use the Gust Blast Jutsu to propel them towards the opponent. The final part of the technique is similar to the Wind Slam, except when the user connects with the opponent, he/she must then pour a large amount of chakra into the Gale's Embrace Jutsu. The slashing winds will become faster, and with this momentum combined with the slam into the opponent, they will be sent spinning towards the object of choice, and possibly have enough spinning force behind them to push them through it. If this technique is used improperly, though, the user will suffer heavy damage.
B Rank Jutsu
Name: Wind Dragon Jutsu Rank: B Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: Creates a dragon formed from wind. The dragon looks like a large serpent, a traditional Chinese dragon that is twenty feet long. The dragon has a red mane and the rest of his body borders light blue. The color is not distinct because the wind manipulates it from its color to transparency. Once it is formed, it moves forward to swallow the enemy and force the target to suffer major cuts from the various air pockets it's built of. The dragon only lasts until it hits something solid before dissipating.
Name: Armor of Wind Jutsu Rank: B Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Description: The user utilizes his chakra and the wind around him to create a whirlwind around himself. The wind forms a circle around the user, five feet in radius, so ten feet in diameter. The wind picks up debris and acts as armor for the user. The wind armor lasts for five posts. Debris on the ground strengthens the armor and projectiles thrown towards the wind also become part of the armor. A taijutsu user is useless against the armor. A genin who gets caught in the wind will become part of the armor, Chuunin will be knocked back five feet, and a Jounin will be knocked back two feet. An elemental jutsu is useless against the armor, but if one is used against the armor it dissipates it. If a fire element jutsu of equal rank or greater is used, then the armor is turned against the user, becoming a tornado column of flames to wrap around him.
Name: Wind Gloves Jutsu Rank: B Skill: Nintaijutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Amount of Stress: Average Description: This jutsu makes ‘gloves’ of wind that can rip up opponents while the user does taijutsu. First the user covers their hands in a layer of protective chakra, and then they make a hollow ball of chakra around each hand. After doing the necessary hand seals, wind begins to thrash around violently within the hollow balls of chakra. Anything that comes in contact with or goes through the ball of chakra will be cut up by the wind slashing around inside. (The user’s hand is protected by chakra from earlier.) These ‘gloves’ don’t break when they hit something because the user keeps a constant supply of chakra going through the balls and around their hands.
Name: Wind Torpedo Jutsu Rank: B Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: The user gathers a large amount of wind into his lungs and expels it in a single blow. The wind forms a torpedo that is near invisible that launches towards the opponent. Upon contact it explodes with the force of two exploding tags.
Name: Nine-tails' Sickle Rank: B Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Mid Description: An advancement of the Dual Sickle, the Nine-tails' Sickle received its name from the legendary Nine-tails from many years ago. In the case of Nine-tails' Sickle, nine different strong bursts of air are directed into a single point. In that one point, when all of the winds collide with one another, they will whip and swirl around each other in a constant loop, almost becoming sphere-like. The torrent of slashing winds will damage anyone who comes near, including the user. The ninjutsu can be broken at any time the user wishes as long as he/she has the chakra to dispel it. If a solid form enters the range of the Nine-tails' Sickle as it is being prepared, the winds will not be able to complete the circuit, but the object will be pounded by the nine wind bursts.
Name: West Gate: Tiger Claw Rank: B Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Mid Description: The second of the four Wind Gate techniques, this technique creates a large amount of air pockets in one direction, and another large set in the other. The user then sends numerous blasts of air through the first set, creating numerous slashing motions in the wind. The force of both the smashing wind and the cuts of the attack will send a target towards the second set of air pockets, where the user then creates the second wave of air blasts. Once the target is pushed forward again, the user must concentrate a large amount of chakra to create a powerful blast of wind from both directions, creating a tornado-like effect around the target, pushing them and slashing them in all different directions, while making it difficult to escape from. The target can escape in either two ways: First, they can leap through the top of the column of winds, as there would be an opening there, or they can block the path of one of the wind blasts to create an opening to escape from.
Name: Whirlwind Kick Rank: B Skill: Nintaijutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Amount of Stress: Average Description: Although most would think this attack to be one that a Genin could learn, it is in fact very difficult to use, but can create a very damaging attack if used the correct way. The user surrounds themselves with air pockets and waits for their opponent to charge at them. Then, they use fast blasts of air to quickly spin them around, but they must wait until the user would be within leg’s reach. Once the spin starts, the user extends their leg and slams it into the target. The target can be hit more than once, but it would cause damage to the user. The flaws in using this risky technique is that the wind blast, if too strong, will cause slashing wounds on the user, and if the blasts are too weak, the target is open to attack you without worrying about the kick.
A Rank Jutsu
Name: Wind Sword Jutsu Rank: A Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Description: Creates a blade of wind around the user’s arm. The sword cannot be blocked due to it being made of wind but it can be dodged. Since the wind is condensed down it does weigh down the user’s arm.
Name: Low Air Pressure Jutsu Rank: A Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Mid Description: This technique makes the air pressure in a room drop dramatically, causing anyone inside to fall asleep. It can only work in an enclosed area like a building or room. Unlike genjutsu that can force people to fall asleep, since this is a ninjutsu, it's set to last a good while longer without being overcome by something as simple as Kai. Easily it probably lasts a good ten minutes before wearing off.
Name: Great Infinite Sandblast Breakthrough Jutsu Rank: A Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: The user inhales deeply and then exhales a vicious stream of wind and sand capable of holding back a small army of ninjas.
Name: Needles of the Wind Rain from a Cloudless Sky Rank: A Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Mid Description: The user molds chakra and condenses the wind around him to make the heavens rain down needles of the wind. The needles rain down in a circular area with a radius of ten feet, so a diameter of twenty feet. This technique can harm the user of course. The needles must be dodged unless an earth jutsu separates the targets from this jutsu making contact; it is a constant rain of the wind needles that disperse when they hit the ground. Also, any jutsu of equal Rank can effectively cancel this out.
Name: East Gate: Dragon Wheel Rank: A Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Mid Description: The third of the four Wind Gate techniques, this is the only technique that uses ranged weapons. The user creates air pockets all around their body, usually 12 separate ones like the face of a clock. The user then creates bursts of wind that create a loop of whipping wind around him/her. Then, he/she throws their choice of whatever ranged weapons they have into the circuit, and the weapons become enwrapped in the wind. The strength of the wind bursts must increase in order to compensate for each addition of weight into the wind loop, and the more weight that is added, the more chakra that is used. Once the wheel is complete, the user can either send the wheel towards an opponent by manipulating all of the air pockets at one time and moving them to a choice spot, or keep the wheel around them to be used as weapon or shield.
Name: Spiteful Whirlwind Rank: A Skill: Nintaijutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Short Amount of Stress: Great Description: This technique is performed in the same fashion as the Whirlwind Kick; the user awaits a target to get close to them, and they begin to spin using the bursts of air from the air pockets. However, the Spiteful Whirlwind requires the user grabs the opponent while spinning, instead of kicking them. Once the user has a hold on the target, he/she must then throw them to the ground below them and slam them as hard as possible with their feet. The whirlwind will continue to spin, dragging the target through the ground below them and causing heavy damage. The user can then either perform two actions: 1) Kick the user out of the whirlwind and send them into a solid object of choice to deal additional damage. 2) Throw them into the air, where they would then spin rapidly from the swirling winds, and then land hard onto the ground below them. The same dangers are still applicable for this technique as with the Whirlwind Kick.
Name: Frenzied Gale Jutsu Rank: A Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: A technique that is similar to Sickling Winds Jutsu. The blast of air is sent through numerous air pockets that absorb the blast for a moment, then send it to another at high speeds. As the technique progresses on, the winds become blade like, far sharper than the Wind Blade. The blasts are capable of cutting through solid wood, and, if enough momentum is created behind the blasts, solid stone. However, to cut through objects such as that, the distance between the target and the user must be large in order to create a successive amount of air pockets and wind blasts to create a strong momentum in the blasts.
S Rank Jutsu
Name: Steroid Blanks Jutsu Rank: S Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: The user collects chakra in his fist, summoning wind in a “blank round,” and then pounds it into his stomach, directing the chakra through his stomach and out his mouth as powerful blasts of swirling wind embedded with incredible amounts of chakra that can clear whole stretches of forestry. Best seen in canon when Shukaku fully possesses Gaara during the Chuunin Exam and battles Gamabunta. A better name for this jutsu which leveled the entire forest area would be Wind Release: Drilling Air Bullet.
Name: Exploding Dragon Blast Rank: S Skill: Ninjutsu Element: Fuuton Range: Long Description: A powerful attack that creates a huge surge of wind in the shape of three dragons, which is sent towards the opponent in a left, right, and frontal assault. Basically Wind Dragon Jutsu, but tripled and with more condensed and sharpened wind. If the victim is hit they will suffer great amounts of damage. It will seem as if he or she is stuck inside a tornado of shredding winds. Best example would be Sarutobi's Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet in his battle against Orochimaru. Misc. Simple, small words were all but fleeting as Makani moved towards him, a sound resonating differently from her. It struck him as odd, distracted him, but only for a moment. The touch of the girls' lips against his own took away his thoughts, separated him from all the problems he was about to have. It was short, but it was worth it, to know that Makani was his after all this time of awkward behavior. She was his, and he was hers as well in a passion that was only growing. There was room for improvement, to move beyond the issues of what was only considered simply awkward. Laughable as it was there was no chance of the matter to think on it, much as there was no room to think at all. The soft touch of the woman's lips was all he could have, to feel them against his in the greatest of simple, small gestures that were enjoyable for a boy of his age. There was nothing more butterfly-worthy than that moment of their giddy enjoyment of each others' company.
It was just a shame when all went down from there from one thought to another as they rushed back. The sounds of her treks stirred up as she moved away, bringing his attention to them. Sentis was gone, which was the first thought that came to mind as the girl spoke as to why he was here. Someone, namely another who could use the Thorn, was out for blood, just as he wondered if it would have happened to the Kings and Queen eventually or not. Surely that explained the harsher and uglier sounds of much simpler, older wheels, that Jonathan too once touched. The only reason he hated them was, however, because they weren't the regalia he touched. They weren't perfect. Which with all speculation in consideration, yes, his thoughts were full circle on revenge. The look in his eyes, and in Makani's eyes, were of similar touch when it came to a hindrance that was clearly effecting them. But the topic at hand... wasn't quite expected.
To hear his girlfriend coming to him as a Resistance member immediately shot his thoughts in a different direction. Screw the regalia, as much as he cherished them, this wasn't the time for that anymore. The Resistance held many of the regalia in their hands anyways, so this couldn't have been about it anymore. No, if anything they were definitely in a safe place, held away so that only Makani could get to them when the time was right. And if that was correct, then she was only choosing to not wear them because she was trying to fall into the shadows. Good for her, actually. Though honestly, it was terrible that she was going down this road, it was good in the sense that she was learning the darker life of a King. She hadn't gotten that opportunity, but she was covering her own tracks already, not flaunting her regalia when necessary as working with the Resistance. They should have been proud of her if they weren't already, as Jonathan was now.
But the topic being about the regalia once more threw him for a new curve he wasn't surprisingly all that pleased about. Power for the regalia was great and all, but it was dangerous, because the effects could cause the Extractors to come back. Or rather the Organization. Something like that was too much of a threat to really want to take on, at least in his opinion. But it was one thing for him to actually think, and it was completely different of him to say aloud to the girl in front of him. Did she really deserve to take on something like that all on her own? Or rather, was she even fully capable of handling something like this that could have had such adverse effects with the Organization still out there? This was much too risky to take on, but it was far worse if she was going to do it all on her own. So even before the rest of the conversation could be had, he already threw in the towel on the red zone of inclusion. He needed to be there for her, because there was no way she was going to be able to survive.
"I want in." There was really nothing more he needed to be said, at least where the Resistance was always concerned. As loyal as he would be to Makani, he owed the Resistance for his own crown. That was enough to keep him coming back for more in each and every fight that he put himself in. And perhaps the sound of a new regalia piece for his own Pledge was something intriguing enough to stumble upon. That was of course, if the Resistance was indeed coming through with their word on the matter of assisting the Kings by increasing their strength for the next war. In which case, Jonathan needed to play his cards right on the next few words stated rather easily. "However, I have a condition. Whatever we're recovering for the regalia, whenever they send you out there, and I come in tow, is mine." Unspoken, his only thoughts were that as long as they were risking increased power for the regalia, the Organization would be there, and so he too would be there to perhaps dampen the effects until the time was right.
Nevermind the obvious thievery and issues with foreign governments that they were going to become involved with. At least they could try and be anonymous when it came to this sort of thing, he supposed. Again, it hardly mattered, but this was going to be an easy enough mission in his own head. Enough so that he went to pulling out his cellphone and pulling up the browser. It was on Makani to decide what was going to happen from there on. All the while, Jonathan was happy to start browsing for airplane flights, their prices, and overall what would bring them to their next mission statement. He already agreed to become a part of this, something that she was probably not happy about. But more than that, this meant that she was going to have to deal with being a team together in more than one way. Even if Jonathan had his own price to be paid while he was involved. And if the Resistance wanted him to give up what he was taking for himself, then there'd be a price to pay for the countless lives they were risking by taking these new components from him to give to the Kings, and make the Organization want even more.
